Why I Created Twenty Years to You.
Twenty years of searching. One dream that never faded.
For twenty years, I searched for answers.
Like so many others facing infertility, I experienced countless appointments, blood tests, scans, procedures, disappointments and moments when hope felt impossible to hold onto. Every test brought the possibility of an answer, yet so often I left with more questions than I arrived with.
For years, I had no symptoms of endometriosis, so it came as a complete shock when I discovered it had silently damaged my fallopian tubes.
I travelled to Greece, where I had both of my fallopian tubes removed before undergoing fertility treatment. After twenty years of hoping, praying and refusing to give up, my greatest dream finally came true.
At the age of 46, I became a mum to my beautiful twins.
Looking back, I often wonder how different my life might have been if I'd had access to the right information sooner, or if I'd known which questions to ask.
Those questions became the reason this website exists.
I created Twenty Years to You to bring together the information I wish I'd had, alongside my own experiences, in the hope that it helps others feel informed, supported and a little less alone.
My goal isn't to tell people what they should do. Every journey is different. Instead, I hope to help you understand the options that may be available, ask the right questions, and feel empowered to make informed decisions about your own fertility journey.
If sharing my story helps even one person find answers sooner than I did, then every word has been worth writing.
I waited twenty years to become a mum. I created this website in the hope that you won't have to.
